This site is dedicated to the memory of Victoria Simpson. (Vicki)

Vicki was born in Lambeth, Greater London. on October 12, 1986. She was very much loved and will be dearly missed.

She passed away on the 3rd May 2015 after complications from her Noonans Syndrome.

I met Vicki online in the Autumn of 2007, she immediately identified me as someone she 'wanted' and in her own words she would say 'she always got what she wanted!' roll forward a few months and she came to Scarborough to visit me for the very first time, even then she was an amazing young woman and we hit it off straight away. 2008 we spent travelling backwards and forwards from London and Scarborough as we tried to spend as much time as possible together and on November 24th 2008 we got engaged after I realised that this special girl was the one for me regardless of her condition as I understood it.

In april 2009 Vicki made a life changing decision to move to Scarborough, after visiting it for so long she had fallen in love with the town, the beach, the sea and the people. We got our first home together as a couple and it became very much our family home as we adopted Domino, our first pet.

During 2010 we had a crazy year, we had friends staying over from Europe. We went on some extreme rides at Alton Towers - despite her better judgment! And we even went tree-top hopping at Dalby Forest "Go Ape" which was an amazing experience in itself. Despite her condition she persevered and she even completed the Go Ape course which even some able bodied people couldn't complete! We stayed over at friends and family and it was an amazing year.

2011 we started to calm down a little bit, we settled down and we had our routines. We would be just as happy curling up on the sofa watching a film or a bit of TV as we would going out to an acoustic set and having a few drinks. We we just as happy in our own company, as we were in other peoples.

In 2012 she took the decision to better herself and volunteered at Yorkshire Coast Homes, where she went from a temporary volunteer to a full time position and even had a position created for her as "Social Media Officer". Sadly she had her first stroke before she could take this position up, she would have made an amazing little worker bee. And when given the opportunity she did.

2013 was all about recovery, she struggled for the first 6months following the stroke but soon bounced back. During that time she remained upbeat, happy and positive. She pushed herself further and as a result she recovered 90% functionality back from the effects of the stroke. She was back to being Vicki again, although unfortunately a year to the day she suffered a repeat stroke but thankfully this one was only a minor stroke and she was recovered before the end of the year.

2014 was a fickle year, I lost my job, started a new one and we had our own difficulties but we both persevered and we carried each other through the hard times, But as always she came out smiling. The end of 2014 and the start of 2015 we had some amazing experiences together and by March 2015 she was full of life.
She was planning our Move away from the coast, she had countless job opportunities and was even going to the Gym. The girl had an amazing amount to live for and was just getting started on making the most of what we had.

22nd April 2015 she suffered a stroke which caused irreparable brain damage to which she wouldn't recover from and on the 3rd May 2015 at 1813 she passed away peacefully.

RIP Victoria Simpson, 12/10/1986 - 03/05/2015
Gone but not forgotten.
